Léa Chen is a Taiwanese artist that is currently based in London. Focusing on the female perspective, her work explores themes of self-identity, memory and trauma through her personal experience. Training as a filmmaker before coming to London, Léa holds a BA in Communication Arts from Fu Jen Catholic University and will complete her MA in Commercial Photography from the London College of Communication in 2025. Primarily utilising photography, Léa continues to explore moving images and sound as her mediums to create.

Through forms, texture and abstract movements in her works, Léa urges to tell a female narrative that is different from the mainstream media, creating an intimate space for her audience to safely wonder and heal in the land of her creativity.
